We Are Certified Early Educators

We offer a comprehensive preschool curriculum where we strive to cultivate young minds. We are trained and hold a higher standard  for quality child care. Our program  goes beyond licensing requirements to provide an environment for learning that children can be excited about. We offer an approved curriculum by the Maryland State Department of Education.

We Offer Three Educational Programs At All Of Our Locations

Infant

We accept infants as young as 6 weeks, and our classroom ratio for this room is one adult for every three infants. 

At this age we focus on nurturing your child's routines and giving responsive care to each individual child. This strengthens their ablilty to find confidence in themselves and form healthy relationships with those around them. 

Toddler

Children 18 months to 23 months will be in our toddler program. Our ratio for this room is one adult for every three toddlers.

This is a critical time for the development of a toddler. We focus on supporting your child's learning by stimulating reasoning, gross and fine motor skills. The child is learning how to respond to different expressions, words and sounds. We promote lots of singing, dancing, and talking to help encourage the children to express themselves.

Preschool

Our preschool program is structured for ages 2 to 5 and is set up with a curriculum approved by MSDE. Our curriculum focuses on all the key areas of development. By the time your child is ready to enter kindergarten, they will be school ready. Many of our activities include:• Science• Music & Art• Language Arts • Math

Before and After Care at Columbia

This is care for children over age 5. Transportation is also provided to and from schools within our community.

Creative Curriculum

This specific curriculum gives room for our teachers to indivdualize their lessons.

This approach focuses on the "whole child". It builds on each individual child's strenghs and encourges easy development to strengthen all their key areas. 

This curriculum covers all the core areas of development-Social/Emotional-Physical-Cognitive-Language

Milestone

Each age group has a list of main deveplomental milestones. Our team of certified teachers know how to get your child where they need to be to meet their milestone achievements.

Our team provides milestone assessments to ensure your child performs within the normal range. We believe that early intervention is the key to a child's success.

Nutrition

Our infant program requires that parents supply breast milk and/or formula for their babies. We offer support for nursing mothers with a Breastfeeding Specialist. We provide breakfast, am snacks, lunch, and pm snacks.

We believe that children learn through play. From planting seeds, learning the life cycle of a butterfly, understanding how nature works,  and a day of water play, Your little ones get to discover the world of nature.

We offer a well-rounded program to keep up with children's energy and encourage early healthy fitness habits. We don't just talk the talk; we also walk the walk with the Let's Move Campaign. In addition, we exercise a variety of indoor and outdoor activities to keep children engaged throughout the day.
